DINING AT THE GLENVIEW
A Table Worth Coming Back To, Every Single Day
From the first meal of the day to the last, the kitchen approaches every plate with the same commitment: to give residents a dining experience that is genuinely worth looking forward to. Every day.
Special Events & Private Dining
Beyond the nightly dining room, Chef David and his team design culinary experiences for community celebrations, themed holiday menus, and private resident events. The kitchen is capable of restaurant-level cooking at scale — and equally at home creating something intimate for a family dinner in the Private Dining Room.
The Private Dining Room is available for residents to reserve for smaller gatherings — family visits, birthday celebrations, or any occasion that calls for its own space. The concierge arranges it; the kitchen handles everything else.

IN GOOD HANDS
The Team Behind the Kitchen
Two people set the tone for everything that happens in this kitchen — and between them, they have nearly four decades of history at The Glenview. That depth of experience shows in ways that are hard to manufacture: in the consistency of the food, in the relationships built with residents over years, and in a culinary culture that values pride of craft above all else.
David Chidsey
Executive Chef
At The Glenview since 1995. Nearly three decades creating memorable dining experiences — driven by the same love of exceptional food and the people he cooks for.
Ashley Yedeski
Pastry Chef
With The Glenview for 15 years. Her desserts have become one of the most talked-about aspects of dining here — elegant, house-made, and impossible to pass up.
Experience It Firsthand
Schedule a visit and join us for lunch. It is the best introduction we can offer — and in our experience, it is usually the one that matters most.
BEHIND THE SCENES
From the Kitchen
Once a month, Chef David opens the kitchen to residents for a cooking demonstration — part education, part tasting, entirely enjoyable. Past sessions have explored regional cuisines, seasonal ingredients, and techniques that send residents back to their own kitchens with something new to try. It is one of the most consistently popular programs at The Glenview, and it reflects something true about the dining culture here: food is taken seriously, and that seriousness is something to share.
