Krisandra began her career in the healthcare arena as a Registered Nurse in the specialties of Orthopedics and Critical Care. She was the Executive Director for a large home health agency in Colorado. She received an MBA in finance. She has worked for Fortune 100 medical device companies as a consultant and has been published in medical journals and magazines. As a realtor, Krisandra has strong business acumen and proficient skills in negotiations and contract management.

Steve has over 30 years of facility maintenance and management experience, primarily in the health care and senior living industry. As Director of Building and Facilities, he oversees all of the mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems at The Glenview at Pelican Bay. In addition, he manages the maintenance, security, and transportation services for the community. Steve brings to this role his extensive life safety knowledge to ensure the community adheres to regulatory compliance and maintains its reputation for quality.

He enjoys the beautiful Southwest Florida weather both on the waterfront and on the golf course.

As Director of Human Resources, Angela supports The Glenview’s talented and dedicated employees. In addition to recruiting staff, she oversees training, maintains personnel records, manages compliance audits, and more. She started with our sister community in 2005 managing human resources, payroll, resident billing, and other office responsibilities. She has worked directly with The Glenview since 2014.

Born in Tampa, Angela is a true Floridian who has lived in Naples since age 15. Angela enjoys spending time with her three children, including cheering on her son who plays goalie for his traveling high school soccer team. One of Angela’s favorite hobbies is scrapbooking because it allows her to preserve those special moments.

As Lifestyles Director, Marilyn McGinty, is responsible for developing a comprehensive entertainment, educational and fitness programs for the residents. She has a committee of 12 residents who help determine the program selection. She publishes, The Glenview News, a monthly publication and prepares the budget and all department correspondences and announcements. She also oversees the welcoming and library committees.

Her career began with teaching at Des Moines Area Community College for four years and managing the Collier County and City of Naples recreation departments for seven years. She received her master’s degree from Drake University in Recreation Administration and her bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University.

Marilyn enjoys yoga, Pilates, cooking and traveling. She especially enjoys traveling to the Pacific Northwest.

As Director of Wellness, some of Jenine’s responsibilities include: the Wellness Clinic, employee health and physicals, risk management, HIPAA compliance, and education. She is certified to teach Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders. Prior to joining The Glenview in 2005, Jenine has held nursing and management positions in skilled nursing, oncology, infusion, and hospice. Jenine received her nursing degree at Pasco-Hernando Community College and her bachelor’s degree in business from Hodges University.

Jenine has been a Naples resident since 1999 and has been married since 1984. She enjoys travel, cooking, and spending time with family.

Juan Ricardo actively serves the Premier Place at the Glenview as Director of Nursing. He ensures the daily functions continuously operate within the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Service (CMS) guidelines. Juan oversees Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and the Interdisciplinary Team. Some of his responsibilities include education, admissions, infection control, wound care, safety, and quality assurance.

He started his career in Cuba in 1986 as a Registered Nurse and shortly after became a Nurse Anesthetist. Juan came to the United States in 1991 and again obtained his license as a Registered Nurse. After working as a Cardiac Care Nurse at Naples Community Hospital for four years, Juan started at Premier Place as a floor nurse. Soon after, he worked his way up to Assistant Director of Nursing where he helped bring the team to a zero deficiency state survey. In 2005, the team was awarded for the most improved reduction in over-time/contract labor. In 2008, Juan was promoted to the Director of Nursing position and assisted the team in obtaining the Senior Living Cornerstone Award. In 2018, 2019, and 2020, he received the Harrison Award for his work at the Premier Place, a top award given by Life Care Services, the current management company for the Glenview.

Juan has been married for ten years now and has a daughter.

As Director, Rachel oversees all of the dining experiences at The Glenview. She leads 35 staff members who are focused on providing first-class dining through individualized service to every resident and guest. In addition to initiating new dining programs and activities, Rachel assists residents with special event planning to help make their celebrations, family get-togethers, and benefits a success. More than 24 years ago, Rachel began as a server in The Glenview Dining Room before advancing through several supervisory and management positions, including Dining Room Manager. Rachel enjoys making people happy by going far above their expectations. With a background in healthcare as a registered nurse, she is uniquely qualified to promote residents’ overall well-being.

Joanne Freeborn is originally from Canada and moved to Florida in 1995. For several years, Joanne worked as a travel nurse. Eventually, she settled in Naples and married a Floridian! Joanne’s work experience and skill level are vast, working in many healthcare specialty areas such as cardiac, emergency, and urology. Joanne is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. That is her passion  –working with people with memory issues. Joanne explains that her father died from Alzheimer’s and realizes they are often misunderstood and need kindness, caring, guidance, and respect. GlenCare’s caregivers have taken the Heartfelt Connections class, which Joanne teaches. This provides each caregiver a deeper understanding of the steps one goes through with memory issues and how best they can help them through the day and night. Most importantly, Joanne believes in living by “The Golden Rule.”

Dave understands how important one of life’s simple pleasures, dining, is to everyone’s day. He is happy to play a key role in developing relationships and making great, festive memories as an Executive Chef. He certainly makes life a little more delicious and special here at The Glenview!

With over 20 years of dedicated service, Jamie is proud of The Glenview’s reputation in the community she loves. She troubleshoots any concerns residents might have by pointing them in the right direction. Jamie provides all the communications to the residents that come from the Board, Resident Council, and Patrick Noonan.
